Getting Started

Before diving into model or system settings, it's worth getting comfortable with the two things you'll use constantly: the main screen and the navigation model itself (the rotary encoder, the ENT/RTN keys, and touch).

• Main Views — the home screen and the USB connection menu.
• User Interface & Navigation — editing values, the on-screen keyboard, and how a "source" is picked throughout Ethos.
• USB Connection Modes — what changes when the radio is plugged into a PC.
• Emergency Mode — what happens if something goes seriously wrong at a low level.
